Some Jersey Boys Related News

SeattlePI - "Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons will be performing July 15, 2006 at the 2,500-seat Tulalip Amphitheatre. The venue north of Marysville features indoor food concessions (including traditional salmon-bake dinner) as well as beer and wine garden."

Broadway World - "Des MacAnuff (director of Jersey Boys) has a new endeavor starting in San Diego called Zhivago, the new musical based the epic Boris Pasternak novel, which will run from May 9th through June 24th at the La Jolla Playhouse's Mandell Weiss Theatre.  The musical will open on May 25th. Part of the cast for Zhivago includes Melissa Hoff who is married to Christian Hoff (who plays Tommy DeVito in Jersey Boys)."

And FoxNews.com Roger Friedman writes:

Broadway is about to have a very weird couple of weeks leading up to the Tony deadline. Some shows, like "The Drowsy Chaperone" and "The Threepenny Opera," are warmly anticipated. Others are not. So far, “Jersey Boys” looks like far and away the winner of the year — and deservedly so. And it does seem that "Grey Gardens," which opened off-Broadway, is the big story of the spring, even if it’s not eligible for the Tony awards.

Susie at Jersey Boys Blog recently noted on the Yahoo! Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons mailing list that on YouTube.com you can see a B&W version of Big Girls Don't Cry.

Also ... it looks like the Beattles are planning to be part of a Las Vegas production that will use "new" music?
