End Of The Year Jersey Boys Link Fest

I thought the two weeks between Christmas and New Year were going to be slow news weeks for Jersey Boys and Frankie Vali and The 4 Seasons.  Boy was I wrong ...

Jersey Boys has been highlighted in several best of lists or reviews for 2005 (must see in 2006): Playbill#1, HearldNet, UPI, NY1, Playbill#2, Broadway.com, Yahoo.com, NY Daily News, NewsDay, NY Times (registration required), USA Today, and Epoch Times.

Several cast and staff members have had articles focused on them: Sergio Trujillo, J. Robert Spencer, John Lloyd Young (audio), Michael Longoria, Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice,   There were also Jersey Boys segments that recent aired with Cathie Lee Gifford on the "The Insider" via Entertainment Tonight and Theater Talk.

In addition,, Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons will be playing Atlantic City Caesars on Feb. 24 & 25, 2006. [bergen.com]  Frankie was also recently on XM Broadway Channel 28 for an interview, and with Phlash Phelps on XM Channel 6 or DirecTV Channel 803.

Whew .... Happy 2006!

Answers To Podcast #7 Questions

The amazing Frank @ Genuine Imitation Life Gazette answered my questions that I posed in Podcast #7 already:

Q: Who is the person with the last names "Williams" who wrote the song "Stay"?

A: Maurice Williams. You can learn more via this link.

Q: Does anyone have any more information about "THE BOOK" that the Jersey Boys Broadway production is based on written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice?

A: Book is a term that refers to the script, so when they say book by Brickman and Elice they are referring to the script. The writers did reference an unpublished Tommy DeVito autobiography that was provided by Tommy himself. This autobiography was to be, and may still be, published.
